Try making up this set (sorry I don't carry a 3,4 or 5i):

iron length hd wt shaft wt SW
6 36.75" 260gr 113gr shaft C-3
7 36.50" 267gr 113gr shaft C-5
8 36.25" 274gr 113gr shaft C-7
9 36.00" 283gr 113gr shaft C-8
pw&GW 35.625" 289gr 111gr shaft D-0 (add 4gr wt)
sw&LW 35.375" 297gr 111gr shaft D-3 (add 8gr wt)

If you don't get the exact swingweight keep the difference in SW to the next club

This set has unique properties, the BP/CG (28.2-28.3"), MOI and Equivalent pendulum length (27.6-27.7") are all approximately equal throughout the set. I tried it yesterday and only missed two GIR's, the clubs flew high and true

Rationale: Clubs will behave as if all the weight is centered at the BP/CG, pendulums will have the same frequency if all the weight is centered at the same equvalent length

Rocco - interesting idea. Are your shaft weights before or after cut to length?
